The year 2024 was a crucial year for implementing the "14th Five-Year Plan", as well as the inaugural year for realizing the spirit of the company's second Party Congress. Throughout the year, under the firm leadership of the Party Committee of CCCC Group, the Party Committee of West Construction has led all staff members by upholding the important instructions of President Xi Jinping, deeply implementing the overall requirements of party building in the new era, and collectively advancing the work deployment of the "Year of Quality Development Improvement". This effort has penned a new chapter in the high-quality development of our enterprise.
This year, we focused on developing through enhancing operational efficiency and quality, adhering to the business philosophy that "market comes first", fully implementing the business strategy of "three majors, two larges, and two priorities", actively engaging with the CCCC Group and key clients, elevating the level of cooperative synergy, and significantly boosting our "self-sustaining" capabilities. The new contract amounts and operating revenues of our three main business sectors—equipment manufacturing, road construction, and energy conservation and environmental protection—all reached record highs, achieving substantial breakthroughs in profits, stabilizing and improving the company's operations, and forging a path of distinctive development.

In this year, we pushed reforms forward guided by strategic thinking, clarified the "innovation center" positioning of our research institute, accelerated the R&D of new products, established an overseas business division, explored internationalization paths suited to the characteristics of West Construction, set up an asset operation business division, expanded application scenarios for equipment products, diversified business models, and formed a logistics service center providing efficient and intensive support. Steady progress was made in reform and adjustment, making the driving force for enterprise development even stronger.
We continued to enhance our drive for innovation, accurately grasping the concept that "grasping innovation is grasping development, planning innovation is planning for the future". We vigorously promoted the R&D of new products, launched over ten technologically competitive new products across four series, achieved a breakthrough from "0" to "1" in tunnel equipment products, filled gaps in group tunnel construction equipment, completed the acceptance and promotion of three national projects related to transportation strength, and steadily advanced the digital control platform for all-series equipment products, continuously amplifying the role of scientific and technological innovation.
We emphasized brand empowerment through publicity, deepened the brand-building philosophy that "doing business is about building brands, and brands are core competitiveness", strengthened communication through internal and external media, comprehensively reported the achievements of West Construction's reform and development, participated in significant exhibitions such as the China International Supply Chain Expo and Bauma China, successfully hosted product recommendation events, and significantly enhanced the company's brand recognition and industry influence.
We focused on strengthening our foundation by uniting hearts and souls, closely following the theme of "high-quality party building leading and safeguarding high-quality development", and fully initiating a trend of studying and promoting the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. By conducting political inspections, fostering a democratic management atmosphere, increasing the selection and establishment of exemplary figures, participating in the battle against poverty, and rotating "First Secretaries", investing in assistance funds, developing special industries, and repairing infrastructure, we highlighted our political character of serving the people wholeheartedly.
